I’d like to share a quick write up about my 2 day trip to New Hampshire in the fall of 2021. We flew into Boston from Seattle in the second week of October 2021 and then drove to New Hampshire.

We stayed at this really cute cozy inn called Kancamagus Swift River Inn right in the middle of White Mountains and along the Kancamagus Scenic Byway. Though the inn was really old, it was well maintained and the couple running the inn (Joe and Janet) were the sweetest! They waited at the door and welcomed us in every single day which made us feel home. :) I would highly recommend this place! The location is great too.

Places to visit:

The places we visited and drove by can be found in the google maps link below:

On the drive back to Boston, we made a quick pit stop at Lake Winnipesaukee. If you have some extra time, I would highly recommend spending more time exploring this area.

Restaurants:

We dined in at restaurants in and around Conway though there weren’t too many options. Make sure to make reservations in advanced if necessary as they can get really busy during the fall.

Looking back, would I have done anything differently?

YES!

We visited New Hampshire on Oct 16th and 17th last year. It was few days after peak fall weather and unfortunately, 50% of the leaves had already fallen off by then.

I would highly recommend visiting NH in the first weekend of October!
